We’ll start our adventure with an early pick up from Cancun and/or Playa del Carmen. This will allow us to beat the crowds and the heat once we arrive at the ancient ruins of Chichen Itza. We’ll go on a guided tour of the once bustling complex, learning about the rich history, religion, culture, and daily life of the Maya.
Following our informational walk around the Mexican pyramids, you’ll have some free time to wander around, gazing at the spectacular stone carvings, and taking photos by the glorious steps of the ruins. Then we’ll board our comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and leave right before the morning gets too warm and the crowds increase.
