First, you will be picked up at your hotel around 08:00 by an English speaking tourist guide and taken to the back roads through distant villages and along green rice paddy fields to make your way to the overgrown jungle temple, Beng Mealea and enjoy a full tour of Beng Mealea and floating village.
Situated about 68km northeast of Siem Reap, Beng Mealea, whose history remains unknown is such a spectacular sight to behold.
Thought to be constructed in the 12th century, the temple has the same architectural style to that of the Angkor Wat. Today, much of the temple is engulfed by the natural forest encompassing the area making it an ideal place for adventure lovers.
Then, you will have time for a lunch break at a nearby restaurant.
After having lunch, you will set your pace to the Tonle Sap Lake to pay a visit to Kampong Khleang. With a population of 10,000 inhabitants, it is the largest community on the lake. If coming here in wet season, you can join in a boat trip to visit the village. If coming here in dry season you can drive up to the village in the jeep depending on the levels of water.
Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Siem Reap around 17:00 and tour ends.
