Welcome to Iceland! Our included shuttle service picks you up from the airport or your hotel accommodation in Keflavik and brings you to our CampEasy office, located in Reykjanesbær.
Once set up for your stay, you start on the famous route called the Golden Circle. This itinerary comprises three sites: Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Geothermal Area, and the mighty Gullfoss waterfall. Just within a 20-minute driving distance of this gorgeous waterfall, you can spend some time in the Secret Lagoon's geothermal pool, which was built in 1891. Secret Lagoon or Gamla Laugin is the oldest swimming pool in the country. Get ready for an unforgettable experience and let us know in your booking if you would like to join this optional activity; we can include admission at 5:00 PM. After a good and long soak, you drive to Flúdir Campsite for the night. Get some rest before tomorrow's adventure!

Start the day by visiting Seljalandsfoss waterfall (behind which you can walk!) and Skógafoss powerful chute. We recommend stopping at Seljavallalaug geothermal pool, where warm water constantly runs through if you fancy a swim. It is a unique experience! You can now get ready for a once-a-lifetime glacier hike on Sólheimajökull Glacier (optional activity, please let us know in your booking if you choose this program and note that the Operator might have strict cancelation terms) You explore the glacier, see crevasses and learn interesting facts from the expert guide. If you are up to it, go for a two-hour walk to see the Wrecked DC-3 Plane. However, if you are looking forward to the famous Black Sand Beach, then go ahead to Reynisfjara. You end your day in Vík, the southernmost village on the Icelandic mainland.

You explore today the south and south-east coasts. You first visit the spectacular Fjadrargljufur Canyon before heading to the Skaftafell National Park (parking fee not included in the package price). Here, you might like to follow one walking path, which leads to Svartifoss waterfall, a well-known chute framed by dark-colored basalt column formation. Take a seat on board an amphibian boat and sail among the huge icebergs floating about the glacier lagoon in the evening (an optional activity we can include the price for if you choose it in your booking). You might be able to taste a piece of a thousand-year-old ice block and learn geology and lagoon facts from an English-speaking guide.

In Djúpavogskorin geothermal pool, you take a relaxing dip away from the road and crowd, completely immersed in the Icelandic nature. Next, you carry on your exploration by visiting Djúpivogur, Reydafjordur fjord, and Egilsstadir, where Iceland's largest forest is. Walking through its many paths, you might encounter wild deers roaming around freely. You end the day at Seydisfjordur, voted the most beautiful east fjord by many.

You end the day at Ásbyrgi, a shoe-horse-shaped canyon where you can follow many walking paths through the woods.

With admission at 1:00 PM, you can go to the geothermal waters of Mývatn Nature Baths for a long and relaxing soak (optional activity, please indicate in your booking if you want us to include this in your tour). More adventure awaits! Next, you visit Viti Krafla, a volcanic crater filled with emerald-colored water. Today your itinerary takes you to Húsavík, the fishing town known for being the Whale Watching spot in Iceland! Your Whale Watching tour will start at 10 a.m., if you wish to see the Icelandic ocean wildlife and its whales (optional activity, select it in your booking to include in the tour) in the harbor with North Sailing. (Operator might have strict cancelation terms) On the way to Akureyri, you visit Godafoss waterfall, "Waterfall of the Gods," one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland. Start the day by visiting Grafarkirkja - the oldest turf church in Iceland. This tiny church is very photogenic. After that, you might like to stop at Grettislaug pool for a warm dip in geothermal waters (this is only our suggestion, and as such, it is not a selectable option in your booking with us and will not be included in the tour´s price). You now head towards Vatnsnes peninsula, which is a true gem. The stunning Hvítserkur, 15 meters high basalt stack, is a must-stop. Legend has it that it is the remnant of a troll caught up with daylight and changed into stone. You might see seals on sand bands resting and enjoying the sunlight on the adjacent beach.

Today’s program is about taking in the untouched beauty of the various fjords on the way to Hólmavik. You drive through small fishing villages such as Súdavik where an Artic Center can be found. One cultural highlight in this region is the Museum of Icelandic Witchcraft and Sorcery at Hólmavík (this is only our suggestion, is not an optional activity for the tour, and will not be included in the price). This magic place is full of artifacts such as spellbooks or Necropants, which produce an endless money supply according to the legend. You might also like to visit the Litlibær historical turf farmstead museum and café.

On the way to Dynjandi, a few smaller waterfalls are leading the way! As you near the end of the day, we recommend stopping at Reykjafjarðarlaug Hot Pool for a relaxing moment in the beautiful Westfjords and connecting with nature.

To watch them, don't miss the Látrabjarg cliff! It is the westernmost point in Iceland and home to many birds such as northern gannet, guillemot, and razorbill.
