After breakfast a nice sweeping ride of around 155km across to Kanchanaburi.
A fascinating area with tragic yet interesting history. An area of great natural beauty, a must for all military buffs as we detail the history of the Thailand–Burma Railway via an interactive museum and information center, and a thought provoking visit to the allied cemetery and walk across the bridge of the river Kwai itself.
Also plenty for nature lovers as the area is rich in Pineapple plantations, sugar cane farms and of course traditional rice paddies.

Lots of time in the afternoon to explore the area, or chill by the river. Overnight there is indeed something soothing about falling asleep to the lapping sounds of water.
