Having completed tour induction. The tour group and support team depart company HQ Route 66 Pattaya and commence their 275km journey along the Eastern seaboard. A number of pre selected stops for coffee and points of interest have been factored into the route.
Late afternoon sees the group make their way to our designated overnight accommodation which is conveniently situated at the edge of the national park.

Post lunch stop sees the tour swings in an Easterly diretion via Chachoengsao to the breathtaking Khao Yai National Park. Khao Yai national park covers more than 2,000 square kilometers of natural forest and lush grassland and is undoubtedly one of the most sought after venues to visit in central Thailand.
In addition to it’s biker friendly scenic roads Khao Yai park features a colourful mixture of beautiful diverse landscapes and unspoilt jungle complemented by integral streams, waterfalls, and a wonderful variety of flora and fauna.
NB: Khao Yai national park has been listed as a Unesco world Heritage site since July 2005.

Once a leisurely breakfast has been concluded the tour party sets off in a Northerly direction coveing 260km to Phetchabun which is situated in the heart of central Thailand.
Phetchabun sits at the southern most tip of two large national parks, Thung Salaeng Luang and Nam Nao, both national parks offer what can best be described as biking Nirvana with endless twists and turns and changes in elevation complemented by stunning scenery. A number of pre selected stops for coffee and points of interest have been factored into the route.

Following a leisurely breakfast the tour departs overnight accommodation commencing a short yet technical 95km ride. The route incorporates a number of hill climbs as we ascend to the highest peak in Phetchabun province standing at some 1768m above sea level. The resulting change in elevation promotes an all year round cooler climate which makes for a pleasant change from the higher temperatures and humidity of the low lands of central Thailand.

Post lunch the remainder of the day sees you free to explore the area and its unique diverse micro climate.
Dependent upon the season you may find yourself climbing through a picturesque sea of fog providing fantastic photo opportunities. Additional photo opportunities present themselves after last light as the clear air is also well known for delivering unsurpassed visibility thus delivering stunning views of crystal clear star lit skies.
