Güiráoga (“House of birds” in guaraní language) is a shelter of the Misiones province for animals that have been hit on the roads or hurt out there in their natural habitat. Re-entry of the animals into the jungle is their daily goal and objective. To ensure their survival in the jungle, they make sure they are strong enough to withstand it.
Here, you will be able to walk around the shelter and see each of the areas that are part of it: the veterinary section, the rehabilitation area and the captivity area.

In this shelter in Misiones, you will walk around and see each of the areas that are part of our daily work: the veterinary section, the quarantine and the nutrition area, which is the heart of the shelter, where all the food for the animals is prepared. Their behavior lets you know if they are ready to return to the wild. You will also see the captivity area, where the newborn animals are cared for.
