You will be picked up at your hotel at 7 A.M. and taken to Phnom Kulen - a cultural and historical site that marked the origin of Khmer empire in the 9th century.
After about 2 hours driving, we will arrive at the Kulen Moutain, near the Preah Ang Thom. From here, a motodup driver will take you around the mountain for the next few hours pass the bumpy and slippery roads, over volcanic rocks and through shallow streams.
We make the first stop at Poeng Tbal the ston with details of Shiva and Vishnu and the ancient rock carvings of Ganesh can be seen.
Later take a short ride to Prasat Rong Chen - the first pyramid temple-mountain to be constructed in the Angkor area. At this very spot, King Jayavarman II declared himself the God-King of the Khmer Kingdom and announced independence from Java. We then proceed to a modern temple for having a packed lunch and a short break there.
Our next stop will be a Bat Cave. With torches, we can go in for a few hundred meters to see a modern shine. At the edge of the Kulen plateau is Srah Damrei (or Elephant Pond). It has some huge sculptures of unknown age, showing animals like an elephant, lions, a frog and a bull. There is an amazing view to the plain of Angkor.
Before heading back to the starting point, we proceed to see more stone carvings at Damrei Krap. The moto dup adventure ends here.
To continue the tour, we visit the River of a Thousand Lingas and finally the Waterfall for a refreshing swim. Back to your hotel in Siem Reap around 18:00 and tour ends.
