Ushuaia is a city in Argentina in the Ushuaia department and capital of the province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands. It was founded on October 12, 1884 by Augusto Lasserre as Fort Ushuaia on the settlement of the former mission of Thomas Bridges

Departing from our office at the tourist dock of the city of Ushuaia, we headed on our boat Les Eclaireurs heading southeast to discover the Beagle Channel, having as final destination the Estancia Harberton

we headed in our boat Les Eclaireurs heading southeast to discover the Beagle Channel, Once in the Les Eclaireurs archipelago we can see the famous homonymous lighthouse that also has colonies of imperial cormorants and rockers on its islets. We will leave the Lighthouse to continue sailing towards our destination, on the way you can observe the predominant vegetation of the area, as well as the town of Puerto Williams (Chile) on Navarino Island.

On the banks of the Beagle Channel and surrounded by the Martial mountain range, it offers a unique landscape in Argentina, with the combination of mountains, sea, glaciers and forests. Owner of a unique landscape, Ushuaia offers endless possibilities and activities, in summer, trekking, horseback riding, sport fishing and mountain biking, allowing the visitor to enjoy nature and explore unexplored places through such incredible scenarios as the Tierra del Fuego National Park. In winter, the magnificent geography and cold temperatures invite skiing, both alpine (downhill) and cross-country (on flat terrain). Navigating the Beagle Channel is another must-see experience since this was the scene of the feats of those first colonizers and is home to the characteristic marine fauna of the region. To enjoy your stay in Ushuaia, we suggest you always have at least one waterproof coat, and comfortable shoes to travel comfortably and safely, through the sloping streets, characteristics of this city. As for tourist services, the city has accommodations and restaurants of all categories as well as banks and exchange houses.

On the way we will make stops on the Isla de los Pájaros where we can see a colony of Imperial Cormorants and other birds such as skúas, giant petrels from the south and black-browed albatrosses; on Isla de los Lobos we can appreciate the South American sea lions with one and two hairs

 We will leave the Lighthouse to continue sailing towards our destination, on the way you can observe the predominant vegetation of the area, as well as the town of Puerto Williams (Chile) on Navarino Island. Once in Estancia Harberton, we will make a 15-minute navigation from the pier to Isla Martillo in a semi-rigid boat

On the island we will walk for an hour between Magellanic penguins and Papuans, always with a guide. Back in the room there will be time for lunch (food and drink not included) and visit the museum of sea bones and marine mammals Acatushún. After the museum visit, we will return to the city of Ushuaia in our minibuses through Provincial Route J and National Route No. 3.
