Lots to see and lots of roads to cover today, but it's a fantastic route. The 108 could have almost been specifically made for touring bikes, and features twists, sweeping curves, loops and a few hilly climbs as we head up to Mae Hong Son covering around 160km.
Which is home to traditional hill tribes such as the Shan and Hmong. It is a gateway to the region's hilly geography and is overlooked by the beautiful Wat Phra That Doi Kongmu, which is a Burmese-style monastery.
