From Marseille, we will start our visit with a commented van ride: the history of Marseille, its modernization, the different religious buildings and impressive villas, a few words on the environment and beaches before passing in front of the Velodrome, the radiant city of Le Corbusier and the largest university in France to join the route de la Gineste where we can make several stops for photos or simply admire the incredible view on Marseille and the surroundings. In the morning, several options are available to you: A long hike (3 hours) to the Calanque d'En Vau, a short hike (1h30) to Port Pin, a 45 to 110 min boat trip to discover the different creeks of the National Park (ticket not included - 16 to 28€), or a visit to the city, its alleys, its typical market and the possibility of swimming at the beach in the centre. After a meal break (at your expense), we will visit one of the 12 organic Cassis wine estates (entrance not included - between 10 and 12€ with tasting) or simply taste some good local wines. You can also do a snorkeling session (included in the tour), Kayak/Paddle (not included) or visit the nearby town of La Ciotat. We will cross the Pastré Park, an emblematic park in Marseille that offers you natural spaces spread over several hectares. On the way, Aleppo pines, holm oaks, laurel, thyme, a variety of juniper and other emblematic species of the Callanques Natural Park will be presented by the guide. At the exit of the park we will start the ascent to the goat pass, at 320 m altitude. At the top, it will be the ideal time to have a picnic and enjoy the panorama. This hike offers one of the best panoramic views of the Phocaean city, the callanque park and the sea. Then, we will start the descent through magnificent faults. At the beginning, some of the passages exposed will require your full vigilance. After a few minutes we will find caves to explore and the vegetation will start to change. We are now heading towards Callelongue which can be enjoyed from above. Sometimes paragliders will decorate the landscape. During the hike we will talk about environmental issues, the geology of the park and how humans have contributed to changes in the coastal environment. Once in Callelongue, it was time to relax. A dive for the bravest in spring or autumn is possible. We'll give instructions on how to get back into town.
