We include a drive across the desolate 'Marrakech desert' of Agafay with a spectacular backdrop of High Atlas peaks, a visit to Lake Takerkoust, and a picturesque drive to the Azzaden Valley via Amizmiz on a remote mountain road. After a delicious local meal Inside a Berber Home, you'll have opportunity to walk through the Berber hamlet of Tinzert, relax, and take in the unmatched views of the High Atlas mountains.
When you're ready, hop in your 4x4 and return to Marrakech through Asni and Tahannaout.

All of our day trips begin at 9 a.m. and end the same day in the evening. We tour the High Atlas, Agafay Desert, Lake Takerkoust, and Tinzert Valley on a day trip from Marrakech. Over this private Marrakech to Atlas exciting day tour, we will collect you up from your hotel and travel by 44 comfortable car on an off-the-beaten-path route to explore the best of Atlas in a popular day circuit. We will drive across the arid 'Marrakech desert' of Agafay, which is a popular day trip with a beautiful backdrop of High Atlas peaks. You do not overlook a must-see attraction in Lake Takerkoust. You will enjoy a magnificent trip across the Atlas Mountains to the famed Azzaden Valley through Amizmiz town. We will eat a typical lunch at a Berber residence and then have a short guided stroll around the Berber village of Tinzert. The views of the High Atlas mountains are stunning. We return to Marrakech via Asni hamlet (renowned for its traditional market) and Tahannaout.
