Koh Rok by speedboat is a full day trip including many water activities. If questioned, you'd find that measuring things like, Quality, Service, Standards, the day's Itinerary, etc. near impossible to rank because you will have been so impressed by the excellence of every aspect of the day trip.
Very experienced captains and safe, cheerful crew operate this tour with true professionalism. But the locations you'll visit are even bigger distractions from these perfections.
The two Rok Islands are tiny paradises about 30kms south of Koh Lanta. They are small, rugged and mostly unspoilt islands that boast an impressive coral reef system and pristine white-sand beaches. There is a ranger's station and a restaurant but very little else of anything! The perfect place for perfect memories that will last forever.
Very few people are in this area. Very few boats travel to this area. The islands' long white sandy beaches wait for you and the waters hold beautiful coral and great snorkeling opportunities. Haa Island, the second stop, is considered to be one of the best snorkeling sites in Thailand, resulting in this excursion providing scenery and experiences of dreams...
...Following departure from the Royal Phuket Marina at about 6:45am, you will be transported by exciting speedboat to a unique, hidden paradise which offers the very best snorkeling around Phuket.
Half way to the Rok Islands, south of Phuket, you will stop at Pileh Cove. Here, towering limestone cliffs surround a lagoon of emerald green waters. Only accessible during high tide, your jaw will drop as we slowly cruise into the lagoon as the cliffs and lagoon appear before you. This is a perfect place to stop, jump off the boat and go swimming.
Next you'll visit 'The Lonely Beach' on Rok Nok Island. Stroll along the beach, leaving your foot prints on the virgin-white powdery sand and swim in the crystal clear blue waters. Undoubtedly the best beach for snorkeling this morning will be at The Clownfish Reef. It is filled with colourful fish and reefs with 'Finding Nemo' being a fantastic coral reef with a very impressive 30 metres of superb visibility.
At your second of the Rok Islands, Koh Rok Nai, have lunch gourmet picnic style on the white sandy beach and spend plenty of time relaxing, sunbathing and swimming before going back to the boat.
Next is Koh Haa Yai, the most southerly of the Haa Islands and often mistakenly called Koh Haa Five (The word 'haa' in Thai means 'five'). The protected lagoons shape a breathtaking view. Here you can glide over some of the most diverse coral reefs in the world, which combine marine life and all the colours of the rainbow.
Eventually it'll be time to leave Koh Haa so you can be back at Royal Phuket Marina by about 5.30pm upon which a comfortable air-conditioned van will take you back to your Phuket or Khao Lak resort.
