The sequence:
Our tour guide picks you up in the morning from your hotel entrance and you will travel to the south from Hurghada. On the way to Luxor you will pass through some of the Upper Egyptian villages and you will get an idea of life in this part of Egypt.
Karnak
First you will see the Karnak Temple - one of the most extraordinary temples in the world, as it is still in amazing condition after thousands of years.
With a little imagination you will find yourself in the past of this impressive sacred monument.
You will have plenty of time to stroll around, explore the entrance area, get a sense of how the mighty pylon was built, walk the avenue of ram-headed cribs, and discover the Hypostyle Hall with its more than a hundred huge fountains preserved columns, admire the hieroglyphs and paintings, see the sacred lake and take a look at the various chapels, temples and statues.
If you wish, approach the Sacred Scarab near the lake and surround it three times clockwise - according to legend, the descendants will soon follow!
Valley of the Kings:
Valley of the Kings, place where the ancient Egyptians buried their kings and powerful nobles over a period of 500 years, and where the mummies of some of the most famous and glamorous people of the Pharaonic era were found. You can descend to the tombs of great Egyptian rulers and discover the well-preserved colorful paintings and hieroglyphics on the walls.
Memnon
Then we'll take you to admire the 3400-year-old Colossi of Memnon, the gigantic statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who once stood in front of his defunct temple complex, even larger than the Karnak Temple.
Queen Hatshepsut
After the lunch break, we are ready for another highlight - the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, who was one of the most fascinating rulers of ancient Egypt.
The Pharaoh, who demonstrated her ability to successfully rule an empire and eventually created an architectonic extraordinary mortuary temple with colonnades, a portico and many statues, paintings and reliefs.
Sound and light show
