Meet your tour guide in front of the Neptune fountain in Piazza Municipio and enjoy the tour of the historic center with its ancient Greek streets, underground Roman ruins and countless churches.
Our city boasts different architectural styles due to the numerous invasions and therefore you will not only see the Greek and Roman area but also the medieval and the Baroque one. At the same time, you will also perceive the diversity of religious belief systems that coexist in society: a mixture of pagan and Christian icons can be seen in the market of San Gregorio Armeno, where you can also explore different artisan shops.
Furthermore, the "Neapolitan" culture is expressed in the typical local food as well as in the alleys full of actors and dancers who will color your path with incredible effects.
After free time, the tour guide will reach the monumental area of Naples and enjoy the view of the medieval castle of Anjou and one of the best neoclassical theaters in the world, the Teatro di San Carlo. In front of the San Carlo Theater you will find the "liberty style shopping center" known as "Galleria Umberto I" and then you will walk along Via Toledo and Piazza Plebiscito. The tour lasts about 5/6 hours and includes 2 free time breaks, each of 45 minutes, one for shopping and one for lunch. Each group will reach a maximum of 25 participants.
