Italian mothers are, without a doubt, the prized chefs of Italian cuisine. Marilee is no exception.
Meet her right in the center of a beautiful suburban area of Rome called Città Giardino (city of gardens), where you will shop at the local market for the necessary ingredients. Back in Marilee's beautiful private home, the class will commence!
Begin by learning how to roll dough! Then, you will make an antipasto, delicious pizzelle, so you have food to nibble on and wine to sip as you cook.
Marilee will then teach you the tricks of rolling out and cutting handmade pasta, as you make ravioli AND pappardelle! Learn a crucial step in Italian cuisine as you make your pasta Al Dente!
After a satisfying plate of pasta your cooking class continues with making a typical Roman secondo or meat dish, all of course accompanied by copious wine.
After your main course you will all enjoy Italian biscotti and coffee on the terrace.
Our private cooking class in Rome at Marilee’s is a unique and local experience you are sure to cherish for a long time.
