Langtang valley trek is one of the popular trekking trails in Nepal. It is located North to the Kathmandu valley. Langtang trekking encompasses the Langtang National Park which protects the endanger Red Panda, varieties of birds, wild animals and diverse of flora and fauna.
The trails of Langtang follows the old salt trading routes comprises forest, village farm lands, Himalayas view, and ethnic culture etc. Majority of ethnic people are Tamang and Sherpa. Because of easy accessibility and close from Kathmandu valley, Langtang region is popular for the trekking lovers.
Langtang valley trek starts from Syabrubesi which is 6 hours drive from capital kathmandu. The maximum elevation of the trek is Kyanging Gump (3,740 m). Kyanging gompa allow you to hike to Langsisakharka, Kyanging Ri. If you love climbing peak - try Yala peak (5,550 m). Kyanging gompa itself the view point, you can have panoramic view of Langtang Lirung and Ghangchepo mountain.
