Kazimierz - the oldest district of Krakow, once a separate city, located behind the no longer existing branch of the Vistula River. A place of coexistence and interpenetration of two cultures - Christian and Jewish.

The streets of the former Jewish ghetto, which existed in the Podgórze district during the war, still contain traces of those terrible events.
