Visit Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the largest preserved site of the Nabataean civilization south of Petra.

The UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hegra, is undoubtedly one of the most iconic sites within AlUla. We've redesigned our Hegra Tour to give you the freedom and flexibility to enjoy this magical and monumental site at your own pace.

On this re-imagined tour, air-conditioned luxury coach buses will follow a comprehensive route around the clock, stopping at the five main points of interest at Hegra. While on the bus, you can enjoy an audio experience providing information on the upcoming stop. At each visit, there will also be a Rawi and a Ranger offering guidance and more information. With buses leaving each point every 20 minutes on a circular route around the site, you can tailor your journey. Hybrid bikes are also available at the coach bus stops, so you can enjoy cycling or use the bus to get around each of the stops. Soak in the magnificence of the scenery or capture the perfect picture on your own time.

Your journey starts at the south gate entrance of Winter Park, where luxury air-conditioned coach buses will take you to Hegra to start your tour along a route of five key points of interest at Hegra: Tomb of Lihyan Son of Kuza, Jabal AlBanat, Jabal Ithlib, Handcraft Pavilion, and Jabal AlAhmar. Winter Park also has a variety of food trucks to get you fuelled up for the tour.

Tours are offered daily at the following times:

(15 Jul - 30 Sep): Daily at 08:00 am, 09:00 am, and 05:00 pm.

(1st Oct - 21 Mar): Tours available daily at 08:00 am, 09:00 am, 10:00 am, 02:00 pm, 03:00 pm, and 04:00 pm.

Duration: This tour is designed to be at your own pace. 

Buses will wait at each stop for 5 minutes, with buses arriving at each stop every 20 minutes. 

The total travel time of the buses between all 5 stops is 50 minutes. 

Hybrid bikes are also available at the coach bus stops, so you can enjoy cycling or use the bus to get around each of the stops.
