Negombo is a city on the west coast of Sri Lanka, north of the capital, Colombo. Near the waterfront, the remains of the 17th-century Dutch Fort now house a prison. Negombo Lagoon, lined with fishermen’s huts, feeds into the Dutch-era Hamilton Canal. The canal leads south to Colombo. Neoclassical St. Mary’s Church, completed in the 1920s, features a ceiling decorated with vivid religious paintings. Negombo is a beach town and its located just 10 kilometers from Bandaranaike International Airport and it’s the first destination with sandy and beautiful beaches that you will meet right after you arrive in Sri Lanka at Bandaranaike International Airport.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to approx 60 - 100 elephants. Day 02 - Sigiriya

Sigiriya o is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 metres (660 ft) high According to the ancient Sri Lankan chronicle the Culavamsa, this site was selected by King Kasyapa (477 – 495 CE) for his new capital. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes.

Proceed to Dambulla

Dambulla cave temple is also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site(1991) in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Day 03 - Sigiriya to Pidurangala to Habarana

- we take you to Pidurangala
Pidurangala is a Buddhist sacred place that has been built in the mountain area and it is 340 m height from the Sea level. This can be found in the north from Sigiriya. Pidurangala Temple has been offered to Buddhist monks in ancient times. Climbing to the Pidurangala rock is more strenuous than climbing Sigiriya. Once you reach the top you will have the best seat in the house (the whole of Sigiriya) for not only the sunrise but also for Sigiriya Rock. The sun doesn’t rise directly over the Sigiriya Rock but it was still a beautiful way to start the morning watching the sun light up the valley.
After having your lunch we take you to Hiriwadunna, a village
Hiriwadunna, a village where trees outnumber people and enjoy a trek across natural trails, a catamaran boat trip, and a bullock cart ride. Hiriwadunna is a beautiful village shaded on either side by a dry zone shrub forest, with unpaved gravel paths and humble village folk will give you a chance to witness the environment of a typical Sri Lankan village life and spot a few unique species of birds. A ride on a bullock cart along a dirt track and through rice paddies down to the picturesque Hiriwadunna Lake will leave you with a sense of peacefulness. This is an unforgettable experience for visitors and will most definitely be one of the places they feel most at peace, during the time spent in Sri Lanka. Also, you will be able to see the views of Sigiriya in the distance. Upon reaching the shore you will be escorted to the house of a village local where your authentic Sri Lankan lunch will be cooked from freshly grown produce. You will also climb to a treehouse which is used as a watch.
End of the day we proceed to Habana,

Day 04 - Habarana

Evening safari at Minneriya National Park
- Minneriya national park is located 182 km away from Colombo, in the North Central Plains of Sri Lanka. The major city closest to Minneriya National Park is Polonnaruwa. The recently renovated, the ancient Minneriya Rainwater Reservoir irrigates a considerable area of the district of Polonnaruwa and is the focal point of the Minneriya National Park. May to October is the best period to visit Minneriya National Park in view of the famous Gathering of the wild elephant herds. The gathering is documented as the largest known meeting place of Asian Elephants in the world. During the dry season of August to September each year, herds up to 300 elephants are seen within a few square kilometers of the vast Minneriya Reservoir. This Elephant Gathering is a thrilling spectacle that would be remembered for the rest of the life of all those who were fortunate enough to witness it. 24 species of mammals and over 170 species of birds have been recorded here and out Of the 25 species of reptiles recorded in the park 8 are endemic.

Day 05 - Habarana To Colombo to Airport
Proceed to Colombo.
commencing with a visit to the Fort and the Pettah commercial hub with offices and shopping areas located amidst the oldest colonial hotel GOH. It has a fantastic view of the Colombo harbor, a lighthouse with a clock tower (older than Big Ben in London) close to the president’s house and old parliament. Afterward, proceed through the main street passing the old Dutch Museum, belfry, and old City Hall which houses puppets of earlier governors of Sri Lanka. Stops will be made at the Old Dutch hospital with shops and restaurants facing Sri Lanka’s twin tower buildings. Continue to the old racecourse with a maze of buildings with colonial architecture, restaurants and shopping arcade passing through Colombo City Hall (mini replica of the White House in Washington, DC) Shopping in Colombo,
- Thereafter Proceed to the airport with lingering memories of your trip to Sri Lanka
