Angthong National Marine Park is not only one of the most amazing archipelagos in the Gulf of Thailand but it is one of the most strikingly beautiful pocket of islands in the world. Most of these rock formations are close to each, thus making a breathtaking panorama around the protected Marine Park. The islands are of different shapes and sizes and all, except for one, are uninhabited and undeveloped.
The islands consist of Limestone Mountains about 10-400 meters above sea level. Due to chemical conditions and centuries of weather, the islands have created strange-looking caves, amazing cliffs and some islands even look like ancient temples.
The exhilarating 'semi-private' VIP ride on a modern speedboat (allowing a maximum of 15 people only) will take you out to these stunning islands, the type of which you'd only previously dreamed about with kayaks waiting for you along the way.
The morning kayaking is along the coast of Mae Koh were you navigate beneath huge rocks overhangs and view some of the most magnificent scenery the gulf has to offer.
Landing the kayaks on the beach, you begin a spectacular climb through the dense rainforest and narrow ravines to arrive at the “Green Lagoon” , a beautiful emerald salt water lake.
Then back to the speedboat to head to the stunning north region of the park arriving at Koh Thai Plao for the second kayak adventure. Here you will discover magical caves and bizarre rock formations and you’ll have plenty of snorkeling time to explore the underwater sights before returning to Koh Samui.
During the day you will enjoy a delicious Thai lunch at a beachside restaurant.
